Established in 2022, Leopold Pickleball Club (LPC) is a vibrant and welcoming community club that brings people together to enjoy th fun, fast paced sport of Pickleball. Since its formation, the club has grown to approximately 124 members, providing opportunities for adults of all skill levels to get involved, stay active and build social connections through sport.
At the heart of LPC is a commitment to making pickleball enjoyable, inclusive and accessible, with a strong focus on fun, participation and community spirit.
The club operates across two venues: the Leopold indoor Neighbourhood Centre (LINC) in Leopold and TarraTarra Stadium in Armstrong Creek. Together, these venues offer seven indoor wooden pickleball courts - three at LINC and four at TarraTarra Stadium - with permanent lines and portable nets. The club currently provides sessions for adults, catering to a range of abilities.
LPC was originally part of Life Activities Club Geelong Inc., an organisation that supports community participation through recreational activities, education and motivational programs. The club is also an affiliated community club with Pickleball Victoria.
As the club continues to form, its committee and members have voted to incorporate LPC as an independent sporting organisation. This marks an exciting milestone in the club's history, creating a foundation for greater autonomy and future development while maintaining its strong community focus.
